We are seeking to fill our Operations Support Specialist who will play a crucial supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our RCM operations. What the role entails:
- Payer Enrollments: Handles the submission and follow-up of healthcare providers’ applications to join insurance networks, including enrollment with ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Communicate with providers to gather necessary information and resolve issues or discrepancies in the enrollment process. Collect and maintain up-to-date records and documentation required for the enrollment process.
- Payer Portal Administration: Involves setting up and managing internal and 3rd party user accounts to ensure only authorized personnel access sensitive information for various insurance providers and/or clearinghouse applications. Provides technical support to users that encounter issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems. Ensures that all data entered into the portals is accurate and up to date.
- EMR Database Management: Responsible for updating insurance payers, CPT’s, diagnosis, and various other data tables within the EMR application. Provides technical support to users that encounter issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems. Ensures that all data entered into the portals is accurate and up to date.
- Workflow Applications: Assists with setting up and managing internal and 3rd party user accounts regarding various workflow tools. Provides technical support to users that encounter issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.
- System Maintenance: Maintain/Update various EMR applications, Workflow applications and Tools.
- Package Builds: Involves working with our various practices with the creation, entry of Self-Pay packages and standardization.
- Training: Provides training when applicable to new hires, special training requests, and process improvement changes or new implementations including but not limited to Charge Entry, Billing, and Cash Posting. Training new users on our EMR and Workflow applications. Maintaining and updating our SharePoint database for standard operating procedures, training materials, how-to guides, and quick reference sheets.

- 1-3 years’ work experience in similar or related position or other office environment
