Are you passionate about providing compassionate care in women's health?
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks , and to assist in various clinical procedures. Experience in OB/GYN and using our Athena EMR system is highly desirable.

Duties

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Accurately document patient information and medical history in electronic health records.
Conduct preliminary assessments, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examination.
Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and equipment is sterilized.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care in Women's health and provide quality measures.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
Support OB/GYN procedures by preparing instruments and assisting during treatments as needed.

Experience

Medical Assistant certification preferred
Previous experience in OB/GYN or women's health is a plus
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with the Athena EMR systems and basic office software
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
