Women's Group of North Florida is a Women’s Health practice established in the community. We are based at NFRMC. We want to make all patients feel welcome and give them the health care needed to make life better. Our services are sexual health, family planning, menopause care, obstetrics, and gynecologic care for patients at all income levels, at all stages of immigration, all kinds of health insurance or no health insurance, and all demographic identifiers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As an office Certified Medical/Nusing Assistant you will:

· Check a patient’s vital signs, document accordingly, and consent for treatment

· Welcome patients and obtain medical histories; verify patient information

· Assist physicians during examinations and procedures

· Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered (injections, blood draws, etc.)

. Cleaning and sterilizing instruments

. Cleaning and stocking exam rooms

· Dispense medications within the scope of practice as ordered by the treating providers

· Work with multiple physicians

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· High school graduate or equivalent

. Certified Medical Assistant

· Strong organizational skills

· Detail Oriented

. Self Starter

· Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment

· Demonstrated computer skills with standard office software (MS Office)

· Ability to multi-task

· Effectively work as a Team Player

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Bi-lingual preferred. (Spanish)

· Experience with EHR (Athena preferred)

· Experience in OB-GYN preferred

· Training as a MA, or military medical specialist with current MA credentials in the state of employment in accordance with state requirements and applicable regulations.
