The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a visionary physician leader to guide our OB/GYN team at Whittier Street Health Center. The Director will balance clinical care with departmental leadership, shaping standards of excellence and ensuring patient-centered outcomes. This is a high-impact role for a board-certified physician who thrives in collaborative, mission-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and oversee departmental clinical practice
Lead and support physicians, mid-level providers, and staff
Establish and uphold standards of care, policies, and quality protocols
Collaborate with the Medical Director and Administration to promote positive, professional interactions across all levels of physician, staff, and patient relationships
Partner with leadership on budgets, utilization, and program development
Represent Whittier externally to expand services and strengthen partnerships

Requirements:

MD or DO, with completed OB/GYN residency
Board certification (or board eligibility with path to certification)
Current Massachusetts medical license and BLS certification
At least 3 years of clinical practice plus administrative leadership experience
Strong knowledge of medical standards, compliance, and patient-centered care
Familiarity with the local community and ability to engage leaders in advancing organizational goals and initiatives
