We are currently seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and help support our patients and medical staff. Key Responsibilities:

Patient Check-In: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify personal and insurance information, and assist with scheduling appointments.
Phone Management: Answer and direct calls promptly and professionally, schedule appointments, provide information, and handle patient inquiries.
Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input patient information into electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations, and ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments with the medical staff, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal wait times.
Billing & Payment Processing: Process copays, payments, and insurance claims, and provide receipts as needed.
Maintain Office Organization: Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with medical staff, including physicians and nurses, to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration preferred.
Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office, EHR software, etc.)
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Positive, friendly attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
