Medical Assistant

Phase II Center for Women's Health is a Gynecology only office. Our team is growing and we are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves in the healthcare we provide to women and need team members with a passion for what they do.

Responsibilities: Medical Practice/Clinical

Take patient histories, perform vital signs and record information in EMR system
Prepare patients for and assist in procedures
Clean, maintain and stock examination and treatment rooms daily
Scrub and autoclave instruments daily
Serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, and other individuals such as drug reps
Copy and mail requests for medical records ensuring HIPAA compliance
Function as a team member, including being flexible, able to work additional hours when needed and providing backup in different areas of the clinic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00- $19.00 / hour or DOE

Experience:

EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
