We are looking for a professional in medical assisting, with at least 1 years of experience in that role, who takes initiative to contribute to the efficiency of the practice, shows empathy, kindness, and respect towards patients and co-workers, is committed to the job, honest, reliable, open to constructive feedback as well as willing to share opinions to improve the office, and interested in stay in the position in the long term.

The Medical Assistant functions under the supervision of the Medical Assistant supervisor providing clinical and clerical services, including rooming patients, assisting with exams and procedures, performing waived lab tests, Phone Triage and administering medications. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Experience Required:

Clinical experience
Blood Draw
Injections
EMR Experience - Athena
Know medical terminology
Type 50+ wpm
Vital signs - (Manual BP, WT, HT, Temp, etc)
Specimen collection - Computer Requisitions
Phone skills and etiquette
Organizational skills
