Lewisville Women's Care is a busy medical office searching for a dynamic and professional individual for our OB/Gyn office. The Medical Receptionist is the face of the company and plays an important role in the quality of service provided to our patients.

REQUIREMENTS include excellent communication and phone skills, strong customer service, strong computer proficiency, reliable work ethic and a winning personality. You must be able to multi-task and work closely as part of a team. Previous Electronic Medical Records experience a MUST.

JOB DUTIES (but are not limited to):

Scheduling patient appointments
Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner
Checking patients in and out of the office which includes explanations of benefits, collection of patient patients, having patients complete paperwork
Answering incoming telephone calls and directing to appropriate party
Obtaining medical prior authorizations
Surgery scheduling
Patient follow-up
Verifying patient insurance benefits

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At least 1 year in a medical office as Medical Receptionist
At least 1 year experience with EMR software
Bilingual a plus

OFFICE HOURS:

8:30am - 5pm .......... Monday

7:30am - 4pm .......... Tuesday through Friday

NO weekend hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
