We’re ideally looking for candidates with at least 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience, and those who have completed a minimum of 6 months in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Registrar level.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrars in New Zealand train under the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) on a six-year (FTE) specialist training programme.

The curriculum covers general obstetrics, gynaecology, and subspecialties, with a focus on hands-on experience, structured supervision, and progressive responsibility. Training programmes will vary between each of our districts, each offering unique experiences and learning opportunities.

Streamlined Registration for Eligible Doctors
