About the Role

GIG Radiology Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer to join our dedicated team in Rosebud, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to be part of a respected and growing healthcare provider in the Mornington Peninsula region.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including:
- Abdominal
- Obstetric
- Gynaecological
- Musculoskeletal
Accurately capture and interpret ultrasound images to assist with clinical diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.
Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

A tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Sonographer in a healthcare setting.
High-level technical skills across a broad range of ultrasound procedures.
Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities to accurately interpret imaging results.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with patients, radiologists, and team members.
A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining professional standards.
Flexibility and a proactive attitude to adapt to clinical demands.
