Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals and outpatient facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to patient health and well-being, with a focus on delivering surgical services. Time will be spent between assisting during surgical cases and seeing patients in office.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
Perform medical procedures as necessary, including but not limited to surgical assistance in the OR
Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
Collect and analyze data related to patient care to improve outcomes.
Assist in the management of acute care situations, ensuring prompt intervention as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
Experience in hospital settings or medical-surgical environments is preferred.
Strong skills in patient care, data collection, and health coaching.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From $111,122.84 per year
