We are looking for a lively Medical Front Office Assistant to help with the daily clerical and administrative operations of a fast-paced OBGYN office. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will have strong customer service skills and be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments
Check-in and check-out functions
Verify insurance eligibility
Collect payments
Answer a multi-line phone system
Update patient information and upload records into EMR
Perform all other assigned duties

Skills

Proven experience in medical office clerical operations
Knowledge of electronic medical record systems (Greenway preferred)
Working knowledge of office equipment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in medical insurance and billing
Familiarity of medical terminology
