The Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position will begin as a contract role at our Ingersoll and or Tillsonburg locations from January 2026 for a maximum of 10 months (November 2026), with a strong potential to transition to a permanent position in Tillsonburg, pending anticipated IPCT expansion funding. (Expected April- June 2026).
This role is full-time with a 37.5 hour work week.

Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
- Additional clinical activities utilizing medical directives which may include, but is not limited to, point of access urine and rapid strep testing, venipuncture, immunization, prenatal and post natal supports, well baby, and child assessments, and immunizations.
- Collaboration with Public Health to order/maintain and document immunizations.
- Perform physical assessments, health education/counseling, history taking and other clinical activities, according to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards of nursing practice and as mandated by the INPLC medical directives.
- Ensure clinical areas, resources, materials and equipment are maintained and in stock.
- Contribute to Electronic Health Records documentation, participate in chart reviews and case conferences, and make referrals as needed.
- Utilize EHR and all other digital health systems such as TELUS PS Suites, Ocean, E-referral for documentation of patient encounters, coding, and communication with patients.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Three to five years nursing experience. Experience in a primary care setting is preferred (or a combination of community, hospital or public health settings)
- Additional training and/or experience in an area relevant to the clinic services
- Experience in emergency care, triage and assessment skills
- Experience in program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Diabetic education experience is an asset
- Proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications (TELUS PS Suites preferred)
- Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing from a recognized college
- Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current proof of professional liability insurance
- Current police vulnerable screening check
