Nepean Hospital is seeking compassionate, motivated, and professional Registered Midwives to join our vibrant Postnatal Unit. In this rewarding role, you will support mothers, babies, and families during one of the most important transitions in their lives.
You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering safe, woman-centred, and culturally responsive care. Your role will see you provide high-quality postnatal care to mothers and newborns, including breastfeeding support, education, and physical assessments, monitor maternal recovery following birth and identify any complications or additional care needs, deliver safe, evidence-based care in alignment with NSW Health and Nepean Hospital guidelines and partner with families to promote confidence and independence in newborn care.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Current registration with AHPRA Registered Midwife (division 1)
- Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in midwifery, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience in Midwifery
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide woman centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
