Assignment Details
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
Setting: Inpatient (Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, GYN Emergencies)
Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Location: Elizabethtown, KY (45 minutes south of Louisville; ~2 hours from Nashville or Cincinnati)
Clinical Details
Responsibilities include:
- OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and deliveries for unassigned patients
- Emergency response for obstetric and gynecologic cases
- Surgical assists at Cesarean sections
- Collaborative support from neonatology and hospital-based specialists
Procedures: Full-scope obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
Patient Population: Adult and obstetric patients
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC eligible
Recent OB/GYN clinical experience within the past 12 months
Completion of prescreen questionnaire (required at submission)
