Job Description / Responsibility
- Overall responsible for managing general consultation services at SMC Diagnostic & Consultation Centre.
- Perform all types of ultrasonogram services available at SMC Diagnostic & Consultation Centre.
- Provide family planning services (long-acting reversible contraceptives) at the SMC centres.
- Explain test results, diagnoses, and treatment plans to patients.
- Conduct routine check-ups for ANC (Antenatal Care) mothers.
- Counsel patients on disease prevention, early detection, and reproductive health including family planning.
- Perform duty at morning or evening shift 8 hours daily (as per duty roster) and 6 days a week.
- Collaborate with other medical and non-medical personnel.
- Refer patients to other healthcare specialists as necessary.
- Record and update patients’ medical histories, reports, and examination results in the software system.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Hospital,Diagnostic Centre,Clinic
Additional Requirements
- MBBS with post graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound Diagnosis (DMUD/ADMU) and having updated BMDC registration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general consultation and ultrasonogram services in private hospitals/clinics.
- Skilled in performing TVS, Fetal Anatomy Scan, Breast & Thyroid Scan, and Vascular Doppler Study (candidates with these skills will be given preference).
- Proven working experience as a General Physician.
- Experience in providing long-acting family planning services.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication skills with an empathetic and compassionate approach.
