Independent Contractor – Medical Coder (Women’s Health)
Location: Remote (U.S.) | Contract Type: 1099

Our growing organization is seeking an experienced Medical Coder with a specialization in Women’s Health to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for gynecology, obstetrics, and related women’s health services.

Responsibilities:

Review and accurately code documentation for Women’s Health encounters.
Ensure coding compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to clarify documentation or coding questions.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of coded records.

Qualifications:

Current coding certification (CPC, COC, or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of women’s health coding experience preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance payer requirements and claim workflows.
High level of professionalism, accuracy, and self-direction.
