We currently have a full time opening for an experienced medical assistant in our Stoneham Facility. Currently, the schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a weekend/holiday rotation depending on the needs of the department.
Summary
Provides clinical assistance to the physician and nursing teams to ensure an effective daily flow of the clinical practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Handles the intake of new patients
Coordinates clinics for physicians seeing patients in conjunction with the nursing staff
Sees patients in clinic with the physician and performs basic functions such as vital signs
Assists the physicians with procedures (SHG, biopsy, etc)
Chart Prep for upcoming MD appointments
Orders supplies and stocks exam rooms
Enters appropriate paperwork into computer
Highly motivated and organized
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient, accurate and professional manner
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer skills
Education and Experience
3-5 Years of medical assistant experience
Medical Assistant certification required
Women's health experience preferred
Infertility experience a definite plus!
