We have an exciting opportunity for inspirational and motivated midwives to join our team.
This is a full time permanent position of 37 hours, within Raigmore Maternity Unit, covering all aspects of midwifery care, working days/nights and weekend rotation. Part-time hours will also be considered.
The post holder will be a registered Midwife on the NMC Register, educated to degree level or equivalent, with relevant clinical experience. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of safe, effective, person centred care with a trauma informed focus, in accordance with NHS Highland policies and procedures, while maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC.
The successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively, participate in quality improvement and assurance, and the effective management of resources. Their clinical expertise will support junior team members in assessing, planning and implementing individualised clinical care within the area of their remit, making best use of expert clinical skills and judgement.
