Small, High-Touch IVF Practice

About Us

We are a small, independent IVF clinic known for exceptional patient care, meticulous lab quality, and a compassionate, concierge-style approach. This position is mission-critical: you will be the central clinical coordinator ensuring every day runs safely, smoothly, and on time.

What You’ll Do:

Clinical Care & Patient Support

Provide compassionate, accurate, timely patient care throughout IVF cycles
Conduct patient teaching, medication instruction, follow-up calls, and cycle monitoring support
Recognize abnormal results, communicate clearly with the physician, and escalate appropriately
Maintain precision in medication orders, labs, consents, and documentation
Guide patients through a complex process with clarity and calmness

Daily Clinical Operations Leadership

This is not just nursing — it’s clinical operations oversight.

You will:

Manage a cohesive group of high-performance, self-starter medical assistants
Lead AM huddles (prepare the day, clarify priorities, identify risks, redistribute workload)
Conduct floor awareness rounds (OR, monitoring, front desk, lab touchpoints)
Engage in ongoing information reconnaissance (what’s happening now, what’s emerging next, what’s at risk)
Monitor schedule flow, identifying delays early and troubleshooting before bottlenecks form
Coordinate with staff across departments (front desk, MA, lab)
Ensure safety checks, equipment readiness, medication inventory, and OR preparation are completed
Keep the physician updated proactively — before something becomes a problem

This role is for someone who sees the whole chessboard.

Quality, Safety & Reliability

Follow and reinforce SOPs
Identify process gaps and propose improvements
Catch safety concerns early (oxygen tanks, medication errors, scheduling errors, missing labs, misplaced orders)
Prevent errors through vigilance and systems thinking
Ensure readiness for weekends, high-volume days, and staffing changes
Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally — up and downstream

Who You Are

You are the RN who never lets things fall through the cracks.

Required

Active California RN license
Prior experience in IVF, OB/GYN, women’s health, PACU, surgery center, or similar
Strong clinical judgment and patient education skills
Excellent communication and situational awareness
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate independently
Tech-savvy; comfortable with EMR, portals, and clinical technology
Emotionally intelligent, team-oriented, and calm in dynamic situations

Preferred

Direct IVF nursing experience
Familiarity with cycle management, ultrasound flow, andrology/embryology workflows
Experience coordinating multi-step processes where timing is critical
Proven ability to anticipate problems and “run the day” strategically
